Traditionally, the Merlot grape has been used as a
blending component in Cabernet Sauvignon. Americans, like their European contemporaries, have discovered the unique quality of California Merlot, a full bodied red wine with lighter tannins that is quite enjoyable on its own. This mouthwatering Merlot, aged in two and three year old small French oak barrels. Plum, cherry and blackberries. Rich and full.
